Little Noses and Big Owies
Well, we had a bit of excitement here today. Caleb (the little guy I watch) is learning to walk. He is doing wonderfully at this difficult task, but he does fall occasionally. Yesterday, he fell into the coffee table and got a nice straight bruise on his cheek. No serious harm done.
Today, however, he decided to crash into the coffee table and left a nasty gash on his nostril that split it right up a little bit. After much crying, the bleeding stopped fairly quickly–most of the crying was due to the first aid he had to endure. A call was made to the momma. The daddy came to get him and he went on a little trip to the doctor where he was patched up appropriately and is now good as new, despite the sore on his nose. He spent the rest of the afternoon chillin’ at his crib.
Looks like we are going to need to put bumpers on the coffee table to try to deter such tragedies in the future.
