“Kitty… Snack”

Friday, October 21st, 2005

Lidia has a new favorite job. When I go to put in a load of laundry, she books it down the stairs as fast as she can go saying “Kitty….naack” or “more more”. She wants to give the kitties their “snack”. I open up the bucket that the food is stored in, she takes [...]

Eugster’s Farm

Friday, October 14th, 2005

Yesterday we took a little field trip in the morning. We met Jenny, the children she watches, and another mom and child at Eugster’s Farm. It takes us around 6 1/2 to 7 hours (imagining no traffic) to get there, and I must say, Lidia does [...]

A visit to Appleton

Tuesday, October 4th, 2005

Saturday morning we rose bright and early (5:30am) to prepare to embark on a weekend trip to Appleton. As we were gathering our things, I opened Lidia’s door to allow her to wake up on her own, rather than yank her out of her peaceful slumber. A while later, Lidia comes out of her [...]
