Not much new…
Well, here it is, already the middle of December. There is not much new with us. Lidia is still interested in using the potty and goes often, but I don’t think she’s quite ready to be in underwear yet. She still pees really often(usually only makes it for a half hour) and forgets to tell me she has to potty a few times a day. I’m just letting her guide me, though. I have a feeling one day she just won’t go in the diaper anymore. I am just happy she has taken an interest on her own before she is even 2!
Lidia is talking quite a lot these days. Pretty much everything that comes out of her mouth is a word or phrase (even though some of those words are hard to understand if you don’t know what she is saying). She doesn’t really babble anymore.
On Christmas Day, she will be 2 and I can hardly believe how time has flown! She has grown so much! I will be curious just how much she has grown when we go for her 2 year check up on January 3rd. We’ll also be having a birthday party on January 7th. We decided to wait until things calmed down a bit after the holidays. I’m excited to see her reaction at opening presents and things. I’m also excited for her to have some new toys, because she is quite obviously bored by the ones she has.
