Okay, so maybe I should re-think this underwear thing…
Well, in my last blog I mentioned I didn’t think she was ready for undies yet. Now I am not so sure about that. After having a few days of doing great with the pottying, Lidia decided just not to go at all. So in response, Mommy decided that perhaps Lidia needed to feel what it was like to wet when there was nothing there to keep it from running down her leg. So, on Wednesday Lidia spent her time in the buff. She rather enjoyed it, and here is the kicker: she had not a single accident!!! She asked to go to the potty every time. Thursday I began with the diaper, and once she had an oops pee in it, I just took it off. Again, no accidents. Today she woke up wet, but we never put a dipe back on after pottying in the morning. No accidents all morning. Put her in a dipe at nap time–she woke up dry, we removed the diaper. She went the entire day with no accidents! That pretty much shows she has full control, which is great at this age. I think I will let her be nude for a few more days then try undies. The hardest part will be going out in public without the diaper for protection… I guess we just won’t know till we try it! We’ll just be sure to take some extra clothes—just in case.
