Did I mention I’m excited?

Yes, and obsessed…
I just can’t believe how much my gut is sticking out in the past week or 2! It’s not fat, it’s pretty firm. I gained about 5 lbs in March, but not enough to make sucha clothing difference and such. 5 lbs is nothing…I haven’t gained any since we found out. I wish [...]

Today, I feel huge

Sunday, April 23rd, 2006

Is it normal to be having clothing issues already? I’m barely even 6 weeks along!! Already I have nearly outgrown my most comfy/best fitting bra. Well, okay, so I knew that would probably happen. But my belly is firming up already and starting to pooch a bit. The belly combined with the boobs is making [...]

Saturday, April 22nd, 2006

Quite a respectable number for 14 DPO.
Yesterday, a second beta was drawn to check how things are going. The resulting number? 1357!!!
I joked it [...]

Hail, glass, wagons and boxes

On Thursday night, a very quiet storm rolled in after a beautiful and warm day. There was a little bit of lightning and the occasional soft thunder rolling across the sky. As we sat down to begin the bed time ritual of a story and snuggles, suddenly there began the sound of a hundred golf [...]

Is it really true?

Sunday, April 16th, 2006

Honestly, it’s hard for me to remember exactly how long it has been since we started this whole family pursuit. I would have to sit down at a calendar and figure it out. In the end, I guess time isn’t that important. I remember month after month of heartbreak–that is until our little Lidia [...]
