Monsters Are Eating My Brain

Today we had our 8 week appointment, and after a great appointment, we decided to let the guard down and tell the world that we are pregnant! Previously we had been guarded since it was so early. We weren’t sure if we would wait until after our 1st appointment or wait until 12 weeks. At this point it is becoming impossible to hide it since I actually *look* pregnant already! If anyone who knows me sees my belly, that’s the end of the quietness :)

So yes, I am unlocking my blog entries and we aren’t *not* telling anyone anymore.

Yesterday’s appointment went well. I have gained inches (since I outgrew my clothes a couple weeks ago) but not pounds, so that is good so far. I am feeling about the same, still tired and occasionally nauseaus, but not losing my food or anything. The doc is very nice and explained that we will have to be monitored a little better since there are 2 kiddos in there, so that means more frequent ultrasounds (doesn’t bother us). She pulled the office u/s machine out really quick to just take a look at the babies and we could see both heartbeats (though one was hiding behind the other), so that was nice to see again and I feel better about that. Next appointment is June 7, with ultrasound!
