Monsters Are Eating My Brain

Yes, apparently there is a party going on in my uterus, because these babies are rocking and rolling now! About 1 1/2 to 2 weeks ago I started feeling the very first pings of what I thought (and have now confirmed) was baby B moving, way up high near my belly button. He started moving more and more last week, and the over the weekend I finally felt Baby A way down low. Now, the past 2 days or so I have felt them BOTH many times throughout the day. Anytime I sit down on the couch I start feeling them wiggling around in there! It’s the strangest thing, but really cool. It has really made everything feel real. I even put Adam’s hand on my belly and he caught 1 kick today :) He didn’t seem as excited as me, but oh well. He isn’t exactly Mr. Excitement. I have to drag it out of him sometimes … Hard to read him…

Anyhow, it is also really comforting to be able to KNOW they are moving around in there and that things are just fine.

We have our 20 week appointment tomorrow. I’m not sure what that will involve. Most of them have been very fast. I think in an earlier blog I had given the wrong date for my appointment, but it is really tomorrow. I think now we will probably get started on getting more of the big things ready. Family is throwing another shower for us, as it is twins, plus we have no teeny baby stuff, as Lidia did not come home until 12 months. So we will have to register so they know what we need and what we already have. Need to register with the hospital, also and keep working on Lidia’s new bed. It is nearly finished now and then we will move her to her new room. I will post pictures when it is all done.

Yes, plenty of things to do to prepare!

I’m really starting to get excited now! :)
