Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday, Happy New Year (all that jazz)

Well, as you can imagine, I have been busier than a one-legged man in a butt kicking contest. Pretty much all I do is feed babies, do laundry, hold babies, assist the princess and occasionally try to squeeze in eating, sleeping and bathing for myself. Oy!

All business aside, though, things are going well–though my house is a disaster. I fear it will stay a disaster for a while.

Christmas went well, though it came up too fast! The boys made their debut to the Bodette family at the annual family Christmas Party. They were a hit, of course.

They are growing really fast! At their one month appointment on December 19th, the doctor was quite surprisede at their growth. Gavin is now (or was on the 19th) 7lbs 2oz and Liam is 7lbs 5oz!! Yep, the little guy is now the big guy. The doc was most suprised because neither of them usually nurse for more than 10 minutes. He couldn’t believe they were getting that much milk in such a short time. Yes, I am breastfeeding twins and it is going just fine! The hardest things are a) they are not that great at it yet (still a little painful) and b) getting up at night. Otherwise, all equipment is functioning just fine.

Here is a pic of the little monsters at Christmas:

As of  Christmas Day, we are also officially the parents of a preschooler! Lidia is 3 years old (and boy does her sassy attitude show it). As if on cue, the day of her birthday she suddenly started asking us “Why?” Yesterday, the bargaining begain. “Mom, can I watch Hi-5?” “Maybe tomorrow we can watch one. Remind Mommy tomorrow” “I watch 2, Mom?”

Here is the little Princess on Christmas Eve Morning (we did Christmas on Christmas Eve, in Rapids, then her birthday on the 25th at our house. I haven’t off-loaded any of her birthday pictures from the camera yet.

That’s all I have time for right now, time to feed a baby!
