Sleepless and Solo

Thanks, by the way, for the compliments on the new design. I would love to take credit, however, I cannot. It was just a free wordpress theme I picked up somewhere. I just liked it. I do not have the time to be designing my own themes. Perhaps someday!

At any rate, you may wonder what my title today means. I’ll just jump right into that subject. Very soon I will be flying solo. Adam’s work has deemed it necessary to send him half way across the globe to Manila (in the Philippines) for a week and a half, thus leaving his wife, 3 year old and infant twins to fend for themselves. This ought to be interesting…

In all seriousness, I do take care of the buggers all day by myself 5 days a week, so it’s not that that will be an issue. More just missing the hubby and getting the occasional break that will be more difficult. I’ve never been overly fond of sleeping in the house without him here, but I’d rather be in the comfort of our house with the 3 of them than anywhere else. I’m sure we will do fine, but Daddy will certainly be missed. I’ll keep you updated on how that all goes.
On other notes, we made a trip to Michigan this past weekend and that went well. We took Friday off so we had a slightly longer weekend. We met my new Great Neice, little Reese (oops I forgot to ask if it’s spelled Reese or Reece). She, of course, is absolutely adoreable. Lidia had a blast stalking following her older cousins around. She just loved playing with them and I hardly saw the girl all weekend! The boys took the car trip well and we made decent time on the way home Sunday night. It was a pleasant trip. I will try to post some pictures from it later/tonight/tomorrow.

Until then, I’ll just leave you with a few new pictures. (See Princess Lidia’s Site for a couple more pictures of her)

Hi Crystal! This is Joanne, formerly of the LG, now across the street at Third Wave. Good to see that you and your family are doing well! Love the photos.

    Hi Crystal-

It’s Kristin Turner, your across the street neighbor. I just wanted to offer my help to you, should you decide you need a break while Adam is gone, or just want to run some errands without the entire clan. I would be more than happy to babysit anytime!

Kate Hong (your ex across the street neighbor) will be in town next week and I know she would agree that her and I “tag team” babysitting would be great practice for us hoping-to-be-moms-some-day-soon girls!!

Good luck to Adam with his travels. Please remember that I am just a shout away (literally). Don’t hesitate to stop by if you need some rest.

Take care, Kristin, Matt, and Jax
