Baby Boy Milestones
The boys have been busy this week!
First of all, after much trial and error over the past couple of weeks, both boys are picking up cheerios and getting about 80% of them into their mouths! They are quite excited about this, as cheerios apparently taste quite nummy to teeny little boys. “Mmm mmm mmm’s” can be heard the entire time they are gumming away.
In other mouth news, Liam cut his first tooth last Saturday (the lower right front tooth) after 3 days of cranky commentary. He’s still not overly happy with how his mouth feels, but he is smiling more often again.
Gavin (as was shown in the last post’s picture) has been successfully sitting on his own for the past couple of weeks. He tips over only occasionally, when reaching out to steal his brother’s toys. Since he has that mastered, he decided tonight that creeping would be fun. That’s right, Baby A is on the move. He is using one little leg to dig into the carpet and propel himself forward, chasing whatever ball or toy is in his sights. I will try to get some video of this new trick!
