Monsters Are Eating My Brain

Though I can hardly believe it has been so long, we have made it to 9 years of marriage. Some probably thought we were crazy (my Dad among them). Not only did we meet on the internet (*gasp* That was strange back then–I mean, it’s a miracle he wasn’t a serial killer or something), but we were so young–me, a mere 19, and he 21. I don’t regret it for a moment. It was right for us.

We had our struggles over the years, but all in all we have done well for ourselves. When I look at what we have now–a comfortable, clean home, 2 vehicles in good repair, the most beautiful little family in the universe…and most importantly, we are more in love now than we were that day 9 years ago–Of course I wouldn’t change a thing. I married my soul mate. I would be lost without him. Who else would put up with my stuff for 9+ years? If he can still love me after the maniac I turned into during our struggles to have a family–well, he’s definitely in it for the long haul.

Here is to 100 more years.
